Chapter Meetings

Chapter 28 holds regular chapter business meetings and marts during the months of January, March, July, September and November. Chapter meetings are typically held on the second Sunday of the month at a local area hotel or college.

The Chapter also co-sponsors the May regional meeting. See the link below for more details.

Note from the Secretary: -- With the Regional and National coming up in a few months, now is the time to check to see if your membership card is up-to-date. If it isn't, you might not be permitted to enter the events. Take out your wallet and see if you are current with you membership.

If you are filling out pre-registrations for the Regional, National, or any of the activities during these events, PLEASE PLEASE write them out completely and as clearly as possible. Your registration might have to be "pitched out" if it isn't filled out properly. Secretaries often use "colorful" language when they can't read or cipher someone's writing!!!

Date:            Sunday July 11, 2010

Time:            Doors open at 8 AM until Noon

Location:     Holiday Inn Strongsville - Route 82 at Interstate 71

Fees:            All members and guests, $7.00 per person
                    Guests may not make any purchases or participate in silent auctions.

Luncheon: $13 per person with paid admission ($20 total); begins shortly after the mart closes.

Table Fees: Mart tables - First one is free!   Additional tables are $5 each.

Silent Auction: 9 AM until announced closing between 10:30 and 11:00 AM.

Programs:

--------------During the Mart, starting around 10 am, there will be a “Clock and Watch Roundtable”. If you have a problem repairing a clock or watch, come to the roundtable and discuss it with our panel of experts.

-------------After the lunch, a video of the 2010 National Craft Competition. Stan Kaufman, Frank Del Greco, and other will handle the commentary. This should prove to be very interesting. ***You do not have to buy the lunch to attend the meeting.

Repairman's List - The secretary and other officers get calls from the public wanting to find a good clock or watch repairman in their area. If you are a repairman and want your name added to a "referral" list, contact Ginny Sims, secretary.

Email Addresses - The secretary also wants to remind the membership to inform her if your email address changes!
